Students should bring the following:

Quantity of 3: mixing trays with 6 compartments in each tray
Good brush like a Winsor Newton series 7 – size 0
Synthetic brush size 0 (for applying Instacoll)
1 or 2 mixing brushes
Pen Nibs and holders: Gilllott 303, Gillott 1950; Hunt 513 EF
Sumi ink or stick ink
Double ended stylus (tool for embossing)
Pigma micron marker size 
eye dropper
pencil and eraser
water containers
wooden ruler with metal edge
magnifier eyeglasses helpful
7 sheets of loose leaf gold (no backing sheet)
5 sheets of patent gold leaf (has a backing sheet attached)
One small (about 3-4 inches) ceramic bowl – must be smooth inside with no grooves.  

Only bring if you have it: 
agate burnisher (I will bring some to share)
